Junior Solicitor – Property and Construction Litigation
We are a busy litigation and disputes resolution practice best known for our work in construction disputes, leaky building litigation, and class actions. Our clients range from home owners to body corporates to large construction companies. We have expertise across a broad range of areas including property litigation, insurance and in advising body corporates.
We have an exciting opportunity for a junior or intermediate solicitor from approximately graduate to 4 years’ PQE, with an immediate start date.
With opportunities for learning and exposure not often afforded to junior solicitors, we offer interesting work, combined with great working hours and the opportunity to earn above market remuneration.
You will be involved in a range of legal matters, including major class action litigation, and can expect high levels of responsibility and mentorship. The role will require you to assist with all aspects of litigation, including managing files, liaising with clients and other parties, drafting correspondence, pleadings and submissions, and attending mediation and Court hearings.
The Ideal You
A background in civil or commercial litigation is an advantage, but is not essential. If you are interested in working in litigation and have the qualities below, we will support you to make this transition.
You will have a strong and client-focused work ethic, and good business acumen. You will be confident, motivated and have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). You will be reliable, and must be able to work independently and to manage a varied work load effectively.
